Starts with ’M’ begins with Manhattan in New York City, Easter Sunday 1961. Here is my dad and aunt Terry standing on a balcony showing the skyline. In the distance and I believe we see the construction of the iconic Pan Am (now Met Life) building, opened in 1963.
The restored Derby (CT) Civil War Monument looks resplendent in the cold yet beautiful Winter sky, taken this past January.
A Favorite. The always lovely Patti captured this wonderful scene on the Derby CT town green! I cannot explain what it is, but the berries, flags and deep blue sky is great! Have a great weekend all!
Nice "M" photos! I always enjoy looking at old family pictures. Mystic, CT is a lovely place, I lived there in the 70"s for a few years and could walk to town from my home. Have a good weekend, Ralph!
