The Weekend Roundup -'B'

Friday means it is time again for Tom's fun meme, The Weekend Roundup. The second letter of the alphabet offers a wealth of possible prompts, so let us begin...

Begins with 'B' is this Covered Bridge in West Cornwall Connecticut under a very Blue sky. There are three remaining covered bridges in the state. This one dates from 1864 and had a new steel frame installed underneath in 1973 so it still allows vehicular traffic.

Another 'B' is Bird, more specifically, a Blue Jay. This was taken a few winters ago, and with the cold and snowy day, he could even be saying B-r-r-r-r...

Here area few Boats moored at a private dock on the Housatonic River in Shelton, CT

A Favorite this week is Wednesday's sunrise over Ansonia. It was cloudy during the day, so this was the only color in the sky that day. Have a great week, all!

  3. That BLUE Jay looks a bit fed up and cold. Love the reflection images in the water with the BOATS. I hope you have a lovely weekend.

  4. Nice B pictures this week, Ralph. Sorry I'm so late in seeing them. We got back Friday afternoon but I feel like sleeping sickness still tonight. I like a three way tie, your Blue Jay, the Boats docked, and the Sunrise through the leafless wintering trees.
    Have a nice week, Jim
